Network Security Expert

The role of Senior Secure Networks Engineer is crucial in delivering change requests, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring seamless network operations.

Maintaining network performance, responding to high-severity incidents (P1 & P2), and resolving issues within SLAs are key responsibilities.

This position involves implementing security measures, including firewall policies, access authentication, and disaster recovery planning.

Active vulnerabilities across deployed Network and Security environments must be identified and remediated promptly.

Monitoring network performance and configuring network devices for optimal functionality are essential duties.

Detailed technical documentation and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements are mandatory.

A successful candidate will ensure detailed change implementation scoping and planning in accordance with ITIL, NEC, and customer best practices.

  • A minimum of 5 years of enterprise experience in networking is required.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise networks and data centers is necessary.
  • Extensive experience with Cisco secure networks, including implementation, management, and troubleshooting, is essential.
  • Expertise in firewall technologies (Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet) is required.
  • Experience with load balancers (F5, Citrix NetScaler) is beneficial.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise wireless networks is desired.
  • Familiarity with software-defined networking (Cisco SD-Access) and SD-WAN environments (Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet) is advantageous.
  • Experience with network management systems is a plus.
