Job Description">

This role is ideal for a highly motivated and detail-oriented designer who can work independently and collaboratively as part of our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for translating designs into comprehensive, accurate, and detailed interior documentation, including construction drawings, renders, specifications, and schedules.

They will also be involved in analysing and optimising spatial layouts to enhance functionality and user experience, researching and specifying appropriate materials, furnishings, and finishes that align with the design vision and budget.

Additionally, they will manage the Council Permit Application process and associated consultants from start to finish, submit detailed documentation for tender, prepare budgets and schedule construction timelines.

The primary point of contact to builders or consultants, offering solutions and providing regular updates to the team, they will also manage the procurement of materials and furnishings, ensuring timely delivery and installation.

A strong communicator and team player, they will have the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, with flexibility to travel regularly with varied hours.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Interior Design.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial Interior Documentation and Project Management.
  • Proficiency in design software (Revit, Autocad, Adobe Suite,Canva).
  • Proficiency in use of technology (Google Drive and Docs, Excel, Office, Asana etc) and the ability to prepare high-quality documents and presentations.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and material specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
  • A strong communicator and team player with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Flexibility to travel regularly with varied hours.
