About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Operations Driver to join our team in Darwin. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include safely operating and maintaining company vehicles, transporting general freight to various locations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and maintain company vehicles in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Transport general freight to various locations across the Darwin region, following designated routes and schedules.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the mechanical fitness of vehicles and report any issues or incidents promptly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods on time and handling any inquiries or issues professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience handling and transporting general freight.
  • Valid HR licence (or above) with a clean driving record.
  • Current LF licence.
  • Strong knowledge of the Darwin region and experience in delivering goods throughout.
  • Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in various driving conditions.
