Senior Home Care Worker

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable professional to provide client-centred care in the comfort of individuals' own homes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care and support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing friendly companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
  • Assisting with medications and personal cares
  • Assisting with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping
  • Supporting clients with transport to appointments and community activities
  • Encouraging independence and well-being in a home environment
  • Participating in the review of client care plans, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate
  • Training and mentoring colleagues

Qualifications required:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or higher
  • Assist Clients with Medication – HLTHPS006
  • Recognise Healthy Body Systems – HLTAAP001
  • Provide Individualised Support – CHCCCS031

Additionally, candidates must hold or be willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR qualification, a current Police Check, and a current driver's license. A valid Australian Work Rights certificate is also required.

As a valued member of our team, you will be provided with a work vehicle and reimbursement at $0.96 per kilometre for approved use of your own vehicle.
