Assistant Coordinator Role

This is a part-time Assistant Coordinator position that supports the day-to-day operations of an OSHC program in Banyo. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting primary school-aged children's well-being, learning, and personal development.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist the Coordinator in planning, delivering, and documenting programs to achieve quality outcomes.
  • Roster and supervise staff to ensure effective team management.
  • Perform administrative and financial tasks such as fee collection, billing, and accounts payable.
  • Develop and deliver engaging educational programs that cater to diverse needs.
  • Create a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children to thrive.
  • Foster collaboration among team members to drive best practices and improve child and family outcomes.
  • Engage in ongoing professional and personal development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • A Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification recognized by ACECQA.
  • Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis qualifications are essential.
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework, and relevant legislation.
  • Experience working with children in an education and care setting, preferably in OSHC.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience using childcare management software.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams.
