Site Operations Manager

The role of Senior Supervisor is crucial in the successful delivery of civil construction projects. Reporting directly to the Construction/Project Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating daily site operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining high-quality outcomes.
This leadership position involves managing relationships with site personnel, clients, and management teams to drive day-to-day operations effectively. As a mentor and leader, you will ensure site staff have the necessary knowledge and tools to perform their jobs efficiently, upholding SRG's Zero Harm culture and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Construction/Project Manager with resource allocation and scheduling.
- Ensure works are conducted safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Interpret construction drawings and documentation, providing clear instructions to Leading Hands/Site Team members.
- Provide progress reports and monitor site safety, identifying and mitigating risks/hazards.
The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, Section 44 training & certifications, preferably Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor training and certification, formal qualification in Project Management, OHS or similar field, and HR license. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Senior Supervisor role, including 10+ years' experience in civil engineering construction, specifically in road infrastructure, bulk earthworks, and civil construction projects in a mining environment, is also required.
