Diagnostic Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technician to join our team at Frizelle Sunshine Automotive in Tweed Heads, NSW. As a Diagnostic Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out vehicle repairs and maintenance as per repair orders and diagnose problem jobs
  • Diagnose vehicles to a high standard, reporting findings correctly using the Triage program for customer visibility and warranty compliance
  • Participate in ongoing factory and company training to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Follow repair instructions and warranty process consistently
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, adhering to safety protocols
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and maintain a positive work environment
Requirements:
  • Australian Automotive Technician/Mechanic Certificate III
  • NSW trade license essential
  • Previous experience in a dealership environment an advantage, but not required
  • Strong communication skills and legible handwriting
  • Current manual driver's license
