Job Title: Mechanic Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Technician to join our team at Frizelle Sunshine Automotive in Tweed Heads, NSW.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Volkswagen Technician to work with our state-of-the-art workshop and latest diagnostic equipment. As a Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle repairs and maintenance, diagnosing problem jobs, and maintaining a sound knowledge of Volkswagen products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out vehicle repairs and maintenance as per repair orders and diagnose problem jobs
  • Maintain a sound knowledge of Volkswagen products and services
  • Follow elsapro instructions and warranty process consistently
  • Take care with use of all workshop tools and equipment and returning them to their correct place
  • Consistently have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment where team culture is the key ingredient to our collective results
  • Volkswagen technical pathway on offer to further your career and future opportunities
Requirements:
  • Volkswagen technical training an advantage, however not essential
  • Automotive Technician/Mechanic Certificate III
  • Exposure to dealership environment an advantage, however not essential
  • Strong communication skills and legible handwriting
  • Current manual drivers licence
  • Take pride in your work by producing high quality workmanship
