Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our supportive and dynamic team. This role offers a 5-month contract opportunity where you will be engaged in our clinics.
Your work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, with shifts spanning from 7am to 6pm, including on-call responsibilities.
Reporting Structure
You will report directly to the Chief Technologist and will be tasked with executing all facets of Nuclear Medicine/PET, which includes the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals and adherence to Quality Control protocols at the highest standards.
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for patient management and the operation of specialized imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with professional standards. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual eager to learn in both private practice and hospital environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This position is suitable for both recent graduates and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologists.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute all aspects of Nuclear Medicine, including the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals and Quality Control procedures to the highest standards.
- Provide exceptional patient care and service consistently.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with patients, referrers, staff, and management.
- Uphold and promote the highest quality and safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Proven ability to conduct high-quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals and corporate staff.
- A tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine.
- AHPRA Registration and a valid NSW/VIC radiation license are mandatory.
