We are a leading Civil Project Management company based in Queensland, Australia, with a strong track record in delivering major projects. Our team is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join us as a Roadworks and Maintenance Specialist.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in roadworks (Maintenance and Works) with a strong focus on Contract Administration activities utilising TMR Contract Admin Systems (CAS). The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in undertaking resurfacing, earthworks, pavements, and drainage works.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting in the assessment of tenders received and tender evaluation and recommendation;
  • Assessing Construction Quality, Safety, Environmental, and Traffic management plans;
  • Undertaking surveillance activities on Construction Contract works, including CAS Manual audits and provisions;
  • Surveillance, Certification, and Verification of the Contract Delivery;
  • Reporting on project progress, issues, and performance;
  • Compiling finalisation documentation and As Constructed detail;
  • Documenting Lessons learned & opportunities for improvement into the future;
  • Assisting with the development of future planning for program of works;
  • Directing, monitoring, and guiding less experienced staff in their duties in each section.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification accepted by the Institution of Engineers Australia as a full Member (MIEAust);
  • An RPEQ accreditation is highly advantageous;
  • A strong knowledge of Roadworks, Traffic Management, Resurfacing works, Drainage works, Pavement, Earthworks, and Environmental understanding in relation to construction and maintenance;
  • Exposure to Open Tender/RMPC/Minor works contracts and familiarity with TMR specifications.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including:
