Job Description

We are seeking a talented professional to fill the role of Graduate Occupational Hygiene/HAZMAT Technician in our Brisbane office.

As a Graduate Occupational Hygiene/HAZMAT Technician, you will work alongside industry leaders in Occupational Hygiene and Hazardous Materials. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Technical Advice: You will be required to provide technical advice on hazardous materials and occupational hygiene issues.
  • Conducting Surveys and Removals: You will conduct asbestos/HAZMAT surveys and removals, as well as asbestos airborne fibre monitoring & fibre counting.
  • Preparing Reports: You will prepare technical reports detailing your findings and recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Qualification in Occupational Hygiene or Related Field: A qualification in occupational hygiene, environmental science or a related field is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Hazmat Industry Experience or Exposure: You should have hazmat industry experience or exposure through study.
  • Valid Driver's Licence: You must hold a valid driver's licence.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Australian Citizenship or Rights to Work in Australia: You must be an Australian citizen or have the right to work in Australia.
