Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Management Expert to lead our construction finance transactions from start to finish. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing QS reports, payment schedules, and development budgets according to business banking frameworks.

You will conduct technical due diligence on builder capability, contract terms, and construction risk, as well as design training programs to enhance frontline skills in construction risk and QS report interpretation.

In addition, you will support frontline bankers with complex construction transactions as a subject matter expert, building strong relationships with QS firms, developers, and builders.

Collaboration is key in this role, so you will work closely with deal teams to align on valuation, budget, and construction metrics.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong analytical mindset, excellent report-writing skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • The ability to explain complex construction concepts clearly and concisely.
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (AIQS/RICS) is preferred, along with at least 5 years' experience in QS or project management.
  • Deep knowledge of construction contracts, valuation, and risk frameworks.
