The Senior Project Officer role involves overseeing the development, implementation and evaluation of construction office accommodation refurbishments or fit out projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stakeholder communications, procurement of suppliers, financial management, contractor performance, and project delivery.

">Job Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Manage stakeholder communications, prepare briefing notes, and coordinate with contractors to achieve project outcomes.
  • Design and Site Management: Lead design and coordination issues on site with clients and contractors.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a project team to deliver key project milestones and outcomes.
  • Expert Advice: Provide expert advice and information to program managers on emerging project issues.
Requirements
  • Experience in project management with fit-out coordination/management.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of end-to-end project delivery.
  • Experience in managing tendering procedures and overseeing construction contractors.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management or equivalent.
  • A positive attitude towards delivering results.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in using project management software/tools.
  • Financial and Risk management skills.
