Senior Workplace Relations Lawyer

Lead a team responsible for providing legal advice to Government on workplace relations, work health and safety, and workers' compensation matters.

As the top legal professional in this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the Department's legislative reform agenda and managing high-stakes litigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of lawyers and support staff in providing legal advice to Government on workplace relations, work health and safety, and workers' compensation matters
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve key objectives and outcomes
  • Manage and resolve complex workplace relations disputes and litigation
Requirements:
  • Admitted as a practitioner of the High Court or the Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
