Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned water efficiency professional to lead our team of specialists in delivering programs that improve water usage.

This is a full-time permanent role based in Leederville, with flexible work options available.

As a leader in this organization, you will be responsible for managing small teams of experienced water efficiency specialists who design, deliver, monitor, and evaluate customer-facing initiatives.

You will also engage with stakeholders and customers, negotiate, influence behaviors, and solve problems while providing excellent service.

This role requires strong leadership skills, experience in sustainability or water efficiency, and knowledge of monitoring and evaluation, project management, and/or science-based data-driven project design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage small teams of experienced water efficiency specialists
  • Design, deliver, monitor, and evaluate customer-facing programs
  • Engage with stakeholders and customers, negotiate, influence behaviors, and solve problems
  • Provide excellent service and maintain a positive team culture
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary level qualification in a related discipline, such as science, engineering, resource management, environmental science, commerce, social sciences, communications, or other related fields
  • Experience and/or technical capacity related to water, resource management, or sustainability in a business or commercial environment
  • Highly competent in the use of Microsoft suite of programs, particularly MS Excel, and able to deliver high-quality data-driven reporting
  • Substantial experience in proactively engaging with stakeholders and customers, including negotiation and influencing behaviors, solving problems, and providing excellent service
  • Program/project management experience, including program design, delivery, reporting, evaluation, and continuous improvement, with strong organizational skills and the ability to lead and manage direct reports
  • Leadership skills and the demonstrated ability to contribute to a collaborative, engaged, and positive performance-focused team culture
