About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Water Meter Reader to join our team in Perth. As a Water Meter Reader, you will be responsible for reading meters in residential, commercial, and industrial areas, ensuring accurate and timely data collection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and record meter readings in a timely and accurate manner
  • Walk an average of 12-15 kilometers per day to access meters in various locations
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, using a vehicle provided by the company
  • Meet deadlines and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for meter reading and data collection
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with customers in a professional manner
Requirements
  • Ability to walk an average of 12-15 kilometers per day
  • Comfortable working outdoors and being exposed to various weather conditions
  • Hold a valid 'C' class driver's license
  • Strong and accurate numeracy skills
  • Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol screen
  • Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with additional hours available up to 40 hours per week
