Job Overview

This role plays a vital part in our plastics moulding department, focusing on production planning and inventory control.


Main Responsibilities
  • Create weekly production schedules using the MATTEC system.
  • Monitor daily production levels with the Pronto system.
  • Manage produced and raw material inventory levels.
  • Provide accurate reporting through system-based cycle counts and checks.
  • Liaise with line supervisors to confirm all required components are available at least 24 hours ahead of the production line.
  • Support targets and plans related to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people.
  • Conduct fortnightly/monthly cycle counts of operations inventory.
  • Maintain and control component storage areas.
  • Organize sub-assembly requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in material planning, logistics, or supply chain, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to effectively use different scheduling systems (experience with MATTEC and Pronto is beneficial).
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • A good communicator with strong internal and external relationship-building skills.
  • Results-driven with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
