We are seeking an experienced Auxiliary Firefighter to join our team in Charleville. As an Auxiliary Firefighter, you will be responsible for responding to fire and other emergency incidents, promoting community safety and emergency preparedness, and contributing to community education activities.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of fire safety principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also possess a manual C-class driver's licence and be willing to commit to attending 50% of calls as a day worker with routine hours or 30% of calls as a shift worker or with non-routine hours.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and competencies by participating in regular drills and training courses provided by QFES. You will also contribute to incident reporting and general station administration as required.
The estimated salary for this position is AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a casual flexible position, and the successful candidate will be required to attend meetings and events as needed.
