Environmental Health and Safety Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team. This is an exciting career opportunity to be based in our Beenleigh plant with 1 week a month in our Bundaberg plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure consistency of EHS management by implementing national and regional approaches; support the roll-out of EHS programs, including focus projects on their site/s.
  • Follow through on incidents, investigations, and corrective actions, including reporting, as well as contact with regulators and government bodies.
  • Conduct audits to maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification.
  • Complete EHS reporting, dashboards, and analysis of statistics.
  • Roll out and ensure compliance with standards, complete risk assessments.
  • Develop standard work, always taking a risk-based approach.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience within the manufacturing or similar industry.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering.
  • Experience with machine safety, energy isolation, and change management.
  • The ability to engage workers on the plant floor to senior management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert computer literacy.
