Records Management Officer Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Records Management Officer to join our team on St Kilda Road. Due to internal changes within the organization, we are seeking an experienced professional to assist and report to the Practice Manager.

This role offers the chance to work as part of the Records Management team on various projects, with potential for career growth and development.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Practice Manager in implementing efficient record-keeping systems and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Develop and implement effective filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure easy access to documents.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team objectives and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Experience: In records management, preferably within an accounting or legal practice.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MDS Suite, excellent communication skills, and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Qualifications: Strong focus on time management, attention to detail, and adaptability.
