About the Role:
AGL is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager - Security & Emergency to join our Risk and Assurance Team. This critical role has the primary responsibility for the development, establishment, and management of security operations and emergency services, systems, and arrangements at AGL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures relating to emergency and security preparedness, management, and response.
- Design and execute compliance processes within cost and risk parameters.
- Risk identification and timely delivery of regulatory requirements.
- Establish and manage security operations, emergency services, and arrangements.
- Manage relationships between direct reports, contract services, regulatory authorities, and response agencies.
- Ensure the protection of facilities, assets, and operations through security and emergency management arrangements and technologies.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, consultants, contractors, and senior leadership within the business.
- Experience in effective and efficient risk assessment, security, and emergency preparedness.
- Understanding of legislative compliance requirements (specifically Emergency Management Act 2013 (Vic) & associated Victorian Critical Infrastructure Model).
- Demonstrated risk analysis, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks, adjust quickly to prioritize, and meet asset and business needs.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree or other qualification in security and emergency management (desirable).
