You will work across diverse clinical settings, from acute hospital care to community and outreach services, building upon your knowledge and experiences. You'll gain a comprehensive understanding of holistic care while making a real impact in rural communities.
This two-year program includes regular clinical supervision and mentoring opportunities, dedicated time for professional development, including monthly journal clubs and multidisciplinary education sessions. Creativity and continuous improvement are encouraged, with each participant implementing a Quality Improvement Project supported by senior staff.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to complete further study in rural generalist practice through the James Cook University Rural generalist level 1 course.

- Is an Occupational Therapist with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
- Is eligible to drive in NSW.
