The Role
As part of the Drafting and Engineering team, you will collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager and Directors in managing a team of skilled drafters. You will be responsible for producing detailed shop drawings using REVIT MEP, your extensive experience in this area being crucial. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders involved in the project.
Your primary focus will be on creating drawings based on high-level engineering designs, engineered in-house (D+C). Ongoing coordination meetings with the builder and other building services contractors will help address clash detection issues and optimize project flow. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute at a senior level, working alongside key personnel including the Construction Manager, Service Manager, Engineering Manager, Estimating Manager, and Directors.
Requirements
To succeed in this position, you must possess sound working knowledge of REVIT MEP and have utilized it effectively in Australian settings. A minimum of three years' experience as a Team Leader or higher is required, preferably with more extensive leadership experience. As a Revit MEP Technical Lead, you will be expected to lead by example, utilizing your technical expertise to drive results. Your understanding of Australian standards and exceptional communication skills are essential for effective stakeholder engagement and project success.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
