Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting timely and accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis to support effective financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present quarterly financial statements and ad hoc monthly reports to stakeholders.
  • Budgeting: Lead the preparation of Annual Budgets in collaboration with community managers, regional operations managers, and resident committees.
  • Compliance: Coordinate annual audits and ensure financial statements are finalised within legislated timeframes.
  • Data Analysis: Leverage data-driven PowerBI dashboards to perform variance analysis and identify key focus areas.
  • Accounting Support: Ensure accurate GST coding and maintain compliant Balance Sheet reconciliations for allocated communities.
  • Community Support: Act as the primary contact for community managers, providing accounting and administrative support.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with resident committees and assist with resolving financial concerns in consultation with key stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in standardising finance processes and driving improvement initiatives across the portfolio.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement and contribute to the efficiency and consistency of financial operations.
