Pharmacy Technician Role

Our pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, with no weekend or Public Holiday work.

The successful applicant will be based in our state-of-the-art facility in Mount Kuring-gai, where they will provide efficient and effective support to our pharmacy team.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

">

- Managing and dispensing prescriptions for allocated hospitals and clinics
- Processing PBS prescriptions under the supervision of pharmacist
- Liaising with health professionals when required
- Supporting the patient account process and dealing with account enquiries and payments

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

">

- Proactive and team-focussed individual with a passion for working with computers and data,
- Previous experience in administration, with confidence using Word and Excel programs within the Office 365 suite,
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills,
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with healthcare professionals including pharmacists, and medical and nursing consultants in our customer clinics,
- Knowledge of, or the ability to learn dispensing software packages.
- Previous hospital or community pharmacy experience will be highly regarded
