About the Role:

As a member of our Defence Information & Cyber Security Team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to exciting and innovative projects working across air, land, sea and space. You will apply your cyber security expertise to world-class Defence capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert advice on all matters relating to information security and cyberworthiness
  • Evaluating and responding to emerging security issues
  • Identifying cyber security risks/gaps and coordinating actions to meet objectives
  • Participating in evaluation of process effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement
  • Delivering sound and timely cyber security design advice
  • Analysing and documenting security events

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Australian Defence Security Policy Framework and associated standards
  • Understanding of developing and implementing information security practices in an engineering environment
  • Expertise with Defence or Australian Intelligence Community (AIC) Information Security System design and architectures
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
