About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health team on a permanent part-time basis of 3 days per week. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing community clients' independence by improving daily living skills.

You will work closely with our Community and Allied Health teams, providing holistic care that prioritizes clients' needs. We foster innovation and development within Allied Health, and we're looking for someone who excels at client-focused work.

About You

Applicants should possess a degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA. Experience in community, private practice or hospital sectors is desirable. You will require excellent communication skills, good time management skills and the ability to conduct home-based evaluations, devise care plans and write functional reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA
  • First Aid Certificate with CPR
  • A National Police Certificate
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Ability to conduct home-based evaluations, devise care plans and write functional reports
  • Assessing the home environment and prescribing aids, equipment and modifications as required
  • Planning, coordination and implementation of group therapy programs as required
  • Excellent communication and good time management skills
  • Membership (or eligibility) with the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists, Queensland
