Procurement Leadership Role

As a Procurement Leader, you will be responsible for supporting the management of strategic and high-risk contracts, building supplier relationships, and establishing mechanisms to ensure effective governance. You will work closely with business functions to identify and manage commercial, contractual, operational, financial, reputational, ethical, and supply chain risks.

This role involves developing appropriate KPI/SLA's and reporting mechanisms into contracts, providing expert advice on procurement strategies, collaborating on approaches and activities to support business requirements, and working closely with contract owners and supplier management teams to improve the quality of service.

You will represent the organization in critical negotiations, including those that are cross-divisional, and achieve effective solutions by challenging relationships, conflicting positions, and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategy at a procurement level
  • Manage multiple procurement projects on a large scale
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business functions to identify and manage risks
  • Provide expert advice on procurement strategies and approaches
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a national role
  • Engineering or procurement background
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of Governance, Contractual and Commercial Support
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategy at a procurement level
  • Prior experience leading multiple procurement projects on a large scale
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
