Aircraft Engineering Specialist

As a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft systems. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and repairing armament systems, as well as performing routine servicing tasks.
Your role will involve working with various aircraft systems, including emergency escape systems, egress systems, and computer-controlled systems. You will also be responsible for handling and loading aircraft stores.
To achieve this, you will need to work closely with your team to ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with approved procedures and regulations. This includes recording details of work performed, reporting defects or deficiencies, and initiating quality or non-conformance reports when necessary.
Furthermore, you will need to possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment. Additionally, you must hold a valid Certificate IV in Aeroskills - Armament and meet the requirements for Australian Defence security clearance.
Requirements- Certificate IV in Aeroskills - Armament
- Military or Civil Aviation Maintenance Licence (Highly Desirable)
- Australian Defence Force aircraft maintenance regulations, process and procedures knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment
- Australian Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
