Join Boeing Defence Australia on the Wedgetail E-7 A maintenance program at RAAF Base Williamtown.
Job Description Join our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services team to support the Wedgetail E-7 A and collaborate with the Australian Defence Force to ensure aircraft readiness for critical tasks.
You will contribute to keeping the Australian Airforce Wedgetail fleet operational and be part of a team that directly supports national security.
Location RAAF Base Williamtown, Williamtown, NSWKey Responsibilities Surface Finishing: Conduct and certify ASURFIN tasks, including surface coating applications and aircraft markings in various environments.
Collaboration: Work with maintenance planning on aircraft servicing tasks.
Self-Certification: Certify completed tasks using the electronic maintenance system.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate maintenance records for paint facility components.
Touch-Ups: Perform necessary paint touch-ups on unit vehicles.
Task Completion: Execute surface finisher tasks.
Inventory Management: Order and manage supplies for surface finisher tasks.
Safety Standards: Uphold WHS practices in the paint shop and report issues.
Training: Supervise and train junior technicians in surface finishing.
Documentation: Keep records of non-aircraft tasks in the paint shop.
Facility Management: Oversee SURFIN operations.
Qualifications & Requirements Certificate III in Aeroskills (Surface Finishing)C class driver's license Australian Citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain a BASELINE clearance Security Clearance You must successfully complete the vetting process for a government security clearance (BASELINE) sponsored by Boeing Defence Australia.
This requires disclosure of relevant information and verification of background from birth to present.
