About the Role

We are seeking a senior lawyer or senior associate with at least 4 years' experience in M&A transactions to join our Corporate Transactions team in Melbourne.

Salary and Benefits

Job Description

In this role, you will work on market-leading transactions, collaborating with our experienced team of lawyers and experts to deliver high-quality results. Your technical expertise and commercial acumen will enable you to provide excellent service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on complex M&A transactions, advising on deal structure, negotiation, and execution
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including tax, finance, and regulatory specialists, to ensure seamless transaction delivery
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 4 years' experience in M&A transactions, preferably in a top-tier or mid-tier law firm
  • Strong technical expertise in corporate law, combined with a commercial approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
