Exciting Opportunity for an Operations Manager
We are pleased to present a significant opportunity to collaborate closely with the National Manager and enhance operational efficiency within a well-established organization renowned for its service excellence since 1892. Our client is in search of a proficient Operations / Branch Manager to take on a crucial role in overseeing the QLD operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain consistent communication with current clients
- Organize and coordinate all routine and urgent tasks
- Oversee the boiler maintenance contract master list to ensure services are provided as per the contract schedule
- Manage contract renewals and provide quotations
- Coordinate with the Service Supervisor and Pressure Vessel Inspector for timely technician scheduling
- Collaborate with the National Manager, Service Supervisor, and Pressure Vessel Inspector for technical support
- Engage with clients to arrange technician site visits
- Monitor and manage spare parts inventory levels
- Utilize JMS for all procurement and job creation
- Contribute to the planning, development, implementation, and support of operational activities
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Professional demeanor and presentation
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding customer service and negotiation capabilities
- Prior experience in service or maintenance coordination
- Knowledge of spare parts inventory management
- Experience in customer engagement
- Background in the boiler industry
