About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Green Keeper to maintain and prepare our golf course for members and visitors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall appearance of the course is exceptional at all times.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to enhance and develop our facility, providing a consistent challenge and enjoyable experience to golfers.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the appearance of the golf course
  • Mowing fairways and greens, raking bunkers, moving tee-markers, and cutting holes when required
  • Maintaining surrounding gardens
  • Maintain and repair equipment when needed
  • Irrigation of the course, greens, trees, and plants
  • Applying mulch, fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides

Requirements:

  • Horticulture certificate
  • Qualification in greenkeeping is advantageous
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Maintaining and operating safely according to associated manuals and risk assessments
  • Carrying out duties with due regard for health and safety
