Maintenance Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maintenance Professional to join our team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and appearance of our golf course.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, fertilising and watering to ensure optimal playing conditions.
  • Implement turf management programs, including pest control and weed eradication, to maintain the health and appearance of greens, fairways and roughs.
  • Operate and maintain golf course equipment and machinery to ensure their proper functionality.
  • Collaborate with the team to execute course improvement projects, such as bunker renovation and landscaping enhancements.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the golf course.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Greenkeeper or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of turf management practices, including fertilisation, irrigation and disease prevention.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining turf equipment and machinery.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve course maintenance issues.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
