Job Opportunity:

A talented and experienced Spray Painter is sought to join our workshop team. This exciting role offers the chance to work in a well-equipped environment, restoring and refinishing fleet vehicles to a high professional standard.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the painting process, including sealing, sanding, masking, priming, and spray painting. Additionally, they will prepare vehicles for services through cut & polish detailing and ensure that all repairs meet industry compliance requirements and company expectations.

This key role also involves mentoring and assisting Apprentices and Trade Assistants as needed, ensuring they complete all relevant work safely and at the required quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience in spray painting, preferably in heavy vehicles or large surface areas
  • Medium Rigid (MR) licence or higher preferred but not mandatory
  • Forklift licence preferred but not mandatory
  • Good understanding of workshop operations is advantageous
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
