About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven leader to manage our Hydraulic Service team in Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring performance, quality, and safety targets are met.

  • Promote a positive and safe working environment with effective incident reporting and response measures.

  • Foster service sales through proactive customer engagement, developing maintenance agreements, and identifying new opportunities.

  • Drive revenue and margin growth while maintaining sustainable and profitable service operations.

  • Develop and maintain workforce capability, ensuring relevant licenses, inductions, and training records are current.

  • Ensure quality outcomes, including lead times, calibration, testing, and continuous improvement actions.

  • Implement resource planning and strategic initiatives for long-term growth and team development.

  • Sustain strong interdepartmental collaboration and communication across business units.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification or relevant tertiary education in Engineering, Mechanical, or related discipline.

  • Proven experience managing technical service or field service teams, preferably within hydraulics or heavy industry.

  • Strong understanding of service operations, including sales, planning, job costing, and resource management.

  • Sound knowledge of HSE responsibilities and quality management processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and engage high-performing teams.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in business reporting, performance metrics, and planning tools.
