Job Title: Childcare Chef

We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to lead our culinary operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Cater to diverse dietary needs, allergies, and cultural preferences ensuring inclusivity and respect.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Foster collaboration with educators to promote nutrition education and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Become a positive role model and build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Effectively manage stock levels and order supplies to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience as a chef/cook, preferably in childcare, school, or similar settings.
  • A certificate in food handling/safety is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of child nutrition and development.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills to meet deadlines and priorities.
  • A positive attitude, team spirit, and commitment to supporting children's wellbeing.
