Electrical & Instrumentation Technician Role Overview

The Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring maximum equipment availability across our complex operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Timely completion of electrical and instrumentation equipment repairs and preventative maintenance to guarantee optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Installation of new electrical/instrumentation equipment under controlled Permit to Work orders, adhering to strict safety standards and regulations.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical and safety standards, fostering a culture of excellence and responsibility.
  • Contribution to the effective implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, driving operational efficiency and quality.
About You:

This role is ideal for a competent, experienced electrician/instrument technician possessing the following qualifications and technical expertise:

  • A recognized 'A' Grade Electrical Licence from Western Australia.
  • Certification in Electrical Instrumentation, demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills.
  • Continuous processing plant maintenance experience, showcasing adaptability and problem-solving abilities.
  • HV switching certificate (desired), indicating additional competencies.
  • Hazardous area training/experience (desired), highlighting enhanced skill sets.
