Product Governance Role

As a Product Governance professional, you will play a critical role in shaping the risk management landscape of our Retail Products division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance risk and control management for Retail Products, aligning with Group Risk policies and frameworks.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex governance and control-related matters, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of the control environment across IWPB product lines, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted solutions.
  • Support the implementation of Operational Risk Transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with existing risk management frameworks.
  • Manage internal and external audit requirements for Retail Products, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate closely with IWPB ExCO and Risk, Compliance, and Assurance (RCA) counterparts to address monitoring, controls, and remediation issues.
  • Promote risk and control awareness and capability within the Retail Products team, driving cultural change through education and training.

  • Excellent risk management skills, with a strong focus on governance and control.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing risk management strategies, preferably in a financial services environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
