Position Overview

We're seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team in modernising a fintech platform and migrating it from .NET to Golang.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build production Go services from scratch as part of a major replatform program
  • Contribute to an event-driven, cloud-native environment based on AWS
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines, DataDog observability, and modern engineering practices
  • Partner with mobile, data, and product teams to deliver customer-facing features
  • (Tech Lead) Provide technical guidance, lead design reviews, and mentor engineers
  • Databases: MySQL, DynamoDB, NoSQL
  • Monitoring/Observability: DataDog
Requirements
  • Strong backend experience (Go preferred)
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and scalable architectures
  • Solid testing practices and a pragmatic approach to performance and security
  • Clear communication and collaborative mindset
  • (Tech Lead) Demonstrated experience in technical leadership
