About the Role

This is a critical leadership role within our financial control team, responsible for leading and developing two accountants. You will be responsible for:

  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts
  • Review reconciliations of sales from POS to Dashboard and NetSuite for company and franchise restaurants
  • Completion of month end journals, including accruals, prepayments and amortisation schedules
  • Review of Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and posting of deprecation, monthly off-charge of Finance support costs from Grill'd to Koko Black
  • Manage the Year-End audit, and preparation of FBT reporting
  • Manage Lease Accounting
  • Monthly reporting of sales to landlords
  • Support the management of cashflow forecasting
  • Manage Capex reporting for the business on a monthly basis
  • Reconciliation of all taxation and payment to relevant bodies
What We're Looking For
  • We're looking for someone with strong experience within a similar role that has worked on projects and driven process improvement
  • Ideally you will have experience in people management and a passion for mentoring
  • You will ideally be CA or CPA qualified
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to help improve inefficiencies
  • A natural born communicator and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • You will thrive in a fast-paced team environment and remain composed under pressure
