Job Opportunity

The Youth Justice team is seeking a professional to provide case support to young people, including engaging with the young person, completing outreach, and supporting case management interventions.

This role will be part of a new Enhanced Bail Supervision and Support (EBSS) service that aims to enhance support for complex young people on bail.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise in electronic monitoring to support suitability assessments.
  • Installation, removal, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic monitoring devices for young people subject to EBSS.
  • Engage with complex young people and work therapeutically with young people and their families to promote their rehabilitation.

Requirements:

  • A relevant Bachelor degree or Diploma in Community Services Work is highly desirable.
  • A full Victorian driver's licence is required due to the need to travel within the state.
  • A current Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) card is required and will need to be provided prior to commencement of employment by the applicant.

About the Role:

As a fixed-term, full-time opportunity you will be working across the South East Metro Region. You will receive penalty rates/be remunerated in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement 2024 that apply to rostered work.
