Key Position: Regulatory Reporting Manager

This role plays a critical part in our organization's Balance Sheet and Statistical Regulatory Reporting (BSSR) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting complex regulatory requirements, assumptions, treatments, and governance matters.

The key responsibilities of this position include providing expert advice on regulatory compliance, supporting the team through targeted assurance deep dives, and implementing pragmatic changes to internal processes.

What You Will Do
  • Interpret and provide trusted advice on complex regulatory requirements and appropriate treatments and judgments
  • Support the BSSR function in maintaining ongoing regulatory reporting governance through targeted assurance deep dives
  • Assist in the implementation of regulatory reporting changes and internal initiatives
  • Document and present recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree in business or commerce with relevant accounting certification (CA/CPA)
  • At least 6 years of post-qualification experience in a large CA firm, financial services, or investment banking industry
  • Experience in technical regulatory reporting and/or technical accounting advisory roles highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical matters with simplicity
