About the Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to champion the integration of Australian AI Voluntary Safety Standards into policies and product lifecycles. You will be responsible for influencing how our organization innovates responsibly, mitigates risks, and delivers AI solutions that align with ethical and regulatory standards.

  • Implement governance frameworks to ensure compliance with Australian AI Voluntary Safety Standards and mitigate risks in AI development.
  • Build tools and processes to assess the safety, reliability, and ethical alignment of AI systems throughout their lifecycle.
  • Develop adversarial testing initiatives to proactively address AI vulnerabilities.
  • Demonstrate expertise in testing, evaluation, and risk assessment for AI systems, including experience with large language models.
  • Stay informed on AI safety advancements and regulatory changes, conducting audits and recommending strategic investments.
