About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Virtual Desktop System Administrator to join our team.

This is a challenging opportunity for someone who is skilled in designing, building, testing and operating ICT systems and network services.

  • Key responsibilities include designing, testing and deploying new versions of the Windows operating system, building and maintaining system images and providing integration for VMware and Citrix VDI Platforms.
  • Responsibilities also include integrating and supporting management of security software and configurations, providing and developing VM image and template automation, implementing VDI performance monitoring and tool tuning for a dynamic network environment.
  • Additional responsibilities include implementing regular checks to confirm system health status, including hardware and software, developing and operating a backup and recovery service for virtualised Windows systems.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
  • Demonstrated experience and qualifications in administering Omnissa (VMware EUC) and Citrix Cloud technologies.
  • Experience with deployment and imaging technology troubleshooting is essential.
  • Desirable skills include demonstrated experience and qualifications in Microsoft server and desktop technologies (including Exchange, WSUS, MECM), as well as experience in Microsoft PowerShell scripting.
