About the Opportunity

Hitachi Construction Machinery is expanding its operations in Perth, and we are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Equipment Maintenance Coordinator at our Forrestdale branch.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with heavy equipment and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving new equipment, facilitating the movement of plant machinery, and ensuring the general appearance of the yard and branch grounds are well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning the activities of the yard and coordinating the receipt of new equipment and attachments
  • Facilitating the movement of plant machinery and equipment within the yard
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy yard area, including the general appearance of the branch grounds
  • Assisting with other branch-related duties as required
Requirements:
  • A current Forklift Licence
  • Demonstrated work experience in a similar position, preferably in the construction and earthmoving industry
  • A focus on safety, ensuring the well-being of yourself and your peers
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Self-motivation and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
