Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for various construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure our bids are competitive and profitable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate estimation of construction costs for commercial projects.
  • Collaborating with the project team to develop comprehensive project bids.
  • Analysing project specifications, drawings, and materials.
  • Utilizing cost-estimating software and databases to develop and maintain estimates.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and head contractors.
  • Identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and providing value engineering solutions.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, market conditions, and material costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven at least 2-3 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, either residential or commercial.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and pricing.
  • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Cubit).
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in Mandarin will be highly valued.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • A passion for delivering top-quality construction solutions.
