About the Care Worker Position

Care Workers at Capital Region Community Services Ltd provide high-quality assistance with personal care to support participants with activities of daily living. This role involves supporting independence for older people by providing timely assistance with personal care, helping maintain appropriate standards of hygiene and grooming.

Main Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: eating, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, getting in and out of bed, and other daily activities.
  • Domestic Assistance: bill paying, clothes washing and ironing, dishwashing, meal preparation, and other domestic chores.
  • Individual Social Support: accompanying participants to appointments, shopping, and other activities relevant to each participant's needs.
Requirements
  • First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Certificate III in Aged/Community Care or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and bend when providing Personal Care and Domestic Assistance
  • Working with Vulnerable People registration
  • National Criminal History Clearance
  • Current Driver's Licence and access to a registered, comprehensively insured motor vehicle
