About the Care Worker (Personal Care) position

Capital Region Community Services (CRCS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the independence of older people by providing high-quality assistance with personal care and daily living activities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care and support to older people in their homes or in a community setting
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Supporting with domestic chores and household tasks
  • Providing individual social support and companionship
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Aged/Community Care or equivalent
  • First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People registration
  • Current Driver's Licence and access to a registered, comprehensively insured motor vehicle
