As a key member of our team, you will be part of driving innovation and redefining the customer experience in online grocery shopping. Your role will have a direct impact on every customer's order, making a real difference to their lives.
About the RoleThis is a dynamic role that requires a strong focus on health and wellbeing. You will work closely with a talented team to provide a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing specialist injury management, rehabilitation, and operational support to drive return to work outcomes for non-work and work-related injuries.
- Providing guidance and support in early intervention and prevention programs.
- Designing, developing, and delivering site-specific and national health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Providing leadership, coaching, and specialist advice to senior leaders to assist in leading a culture of health, safety, and wellbeing.
- Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including People and Culture, Training, and Operations.
- Developing and delivering health and wellbeing strategies and resources that support the needs of the business and are aligned to the Coles Safety, Health, and Wellbeing Strategy.
- Supporting the recruitment, people, and culture, and operations teams with the coordination and delivery of assessments for pre-employment purposes.
- Analysing injury data to identify trends and developing proactive and preventative mitigation strategies.
- You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in injury management, vocational/workplace rehabilitation, or workers' compensation/self-insurance.
- You will be a subject matter expert with experience managing a complex workers' compensation portfolio, including physical and psychological injuries.
- You will have experience integrating a person-centred care model, workers' compensation legislation, and business KPIs.
- You will have a clear demonstration of design, implementation, and integration of health and wellbeing initiatives, considering commercially viable and practical workplace solutions and associated outcome measures.
- You will have an excellent understanding of injury mechanism, treatment requirements, rehabilitation, recovery, and return to work timeframes.
- You will be able to influence a range of stakeholders and work in a dynamic environment with team members from diverse backgrounds.
- You will have a tertiary qualification in a health practitioner discipline, such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, or nursing.
- You will have a working knowledge of relevant workers' compensation, health, safety, and injury management legislation in the jurisdiction.
- You will have knowledge and experience in multiple jurisdictions, which is highly regarded.
- You will have strong internal and external stakeholder communication, engagement, relationship building, and influential negotiating skills.
- You will have demonstrated experience in delivering dispute resolution with internal and external key stakeholders.
- You will have competency in gap analysis, trend analysis, internal audits, and development of strategic reviews and reporting.
